Privacy policy - Leone Tonkinson
From 25 May 2018, the General Data Protection Regulation (AVG) will apply.
This is also an obligation for TonkinsonARTmasters (TAM Art School).
Under the AVG, data subjects (the people whose personal data we process) will have more and improved privacy rights. We - TAM- therefore ensure that you can properly exercise your privacy rights.
We must explain to you:
- What we use the data for.
- Why it is important to you as a student or client.
- How long we keep the data.
- You have rights.
Your rights are:
The right to inspect, modify and delete data.
The right to limit and withdraw permission.
The right to data portability. With this, data subjects should be able to get their data and pass it on to another organization.
The right to lodge complaints with the Personal Data Authority (AP). The AP is obliged to deal with these complaints.
When registering for a course or workshop, we ask you:
- Name
- Your address
- Telephone number
- Email address
- Date of birth
TAM processes these personal details in order to issue or send you an invoice for payment of your course/workshop and/or an invoice for materials supplied to you.
These data are processed in an invoicing system that runs on a local PC.
Announcements about lessons and/or courses will be sent to you by personal email or WhatsApp the WhatsApp group is not public, but only accessible to course participants.
Your data will NOT be shared with other parties.
Your data will remain in the accounts as long as TAM needs to keep the accounts available for the tax authorities - This is 7 years. After this, the accounting records may be destroyed.
According to the AVG, you must give TAM permission to use this data, and you must give permission for email and WhatsApp messages to be sent. TAM must be able to prove that you have given valid consent.
